A Sad Week For Fans of Stargate: SG1

Hi All and welcome to my blog.

Well, it’s been a sad week for fans of Star Gate: SG1, with the death on the 10th of February of beloved actor, Carmen Argenziano. Argenziano played the roll of General Jacob Carter/ Selmak in 27 episodes of SG1 between 1998 and 2005. General Jacob Carter was the father of SG1 mainstay, Major Samantha Carter.

Born of the 27th of October 1943, he appeared in 227 movies and TV shows in a career spanning 50 years from 1969, right up until his untimely passing. Besides SG1, he had rolls in such TV shows as Kojak, Chips, Quincy M.E and Scarecrow and Mrs. King to name but a few. Movies that Argeniano had rolls in include, The Godfather Part II, The Accused, The Tie That Binds and Broken Arrow.

Argenziano will be sorely missed and my deepest Condolences go out to his family friends. Well, that's all for today. I hope that you all have a great weekend and a wonderful week to come.
