I was going to write a joint blog about movies and TV shows, which I am looking forward to seeing this year, but there is so much geeky content being released this year. For this reason, I have split the list into two blogs.
The first movie I am really looking forward too is The Batman, staring Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne/ Batman. I know that a lot of people are not happy with the casting of Pattinson, but just remember back what people were saying when Michael Keaton was cast as Batman in 1989. In the end that turned out to be a brilliant casting chose. I say give Pattinson a chance.
The Batman is due to be released in Australia on the 3rd of March. My next blog will be a Batman blog.
The next movie I am looking forward too is Dr Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. At the end of the day, I am more of a DC fan than Marvel, but that does not mean I will not watch a marvel film. The trailers for Dr Strange in the Multiverse of Madness look epic and I was a big fan of the first Dr Strange movie. Like Robert Downey Jr being cast as Iron Man, the casting of Benedict Cumberbatch as Dr Strange was a master stroke.
Dr Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is due to be released in Australia on the on May 5th.
The next movie I am looking forward too in The Flash staring Ezra Miller. As of this moment, the plot of The Flash is unknown, but it does look like it is going to be a retelling The Flashpoint comic crossover written by Geoff Johns and Andy Kubert in 2011. This was then adapted into an animated movie Justice league: Flashpoint Paradox in 2013.
The Flash is due to be released in Australia on the 3rd of November.
The last film I am going to write about here, although there are many more being released in 2022, is Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. This is the squeal to the 2018 blockbuster Aquaman, staring Jason Momoa. Like I have said, I am a big DC fan, so of course this was going to be on the list.
Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is due to be released on Boxing Day.
There are many more geeky movies I could but on this list, but this a blog, not a novel.
Next week we have two blogs. A review of The Batman and a look at the TV shows I am looking forward too this year.
Have a great weekend.
